Practitioner Training
Creating a practitioner takes time.
Not because muscle testing is difficult to learn.
Or because there are hundreds of techniques to memorise.
It takes time because learning to work well with people is very different from simply learning information.
Over the years I’ve taught many practitioners, one thing became very clear.
Confidence doesn’t come from knowing another correction.
It comes from understanding why you’re doing what you’re doing, trusting your observations, and gradually finding your own way of working.
That’s why I designed this programme differently.
Time
To learn.
To Explore.
To Become.
This is a two-year practitioner training.
Not because I wanted to create a long course.
Because I don’t believe this work can be rushed.
There needs to be time to learn.
Time to practise.
Time to make mistakes.
Time to work with real people.
Time to come back six weeks later and say,
“Emma… this happened. Can we talk about it?”
Some of the most valuable learning doesn’t happen during the teaching weekends.
It happens in between them.
This is an experiential training.
You’ll certainly gain knowledge and practical skills, but you’ll also be invited to experience the work for yourself. Through reflective practice, discussion, practice sessions and the Practitioner Development Workbook, you’ll begin embodying the principles you’re learning rather than simply understanding them intellectually.
A deeper way of working. A more human way of being
What does the training involve?
The programme combines face-to-face teaching, online learning, supervision and independent study.
Over the two years you’ll complete:
- Twelve face-to-face teaching weekends
- Origin & Signature: Meet the soul of your business and discover what makes it unmistakably yours
- Clinical supervision
- Progressive practitioner case studies
- The Practitioner Development Workbook
- Live online practice & integration sessions: Additional opportunities to experience the work, practise together and deepen your learning between modules
- Ongoing support through a private cohort WhatsApp group
Every part of the programme has been designed with intention.
Nothing has been included simply to fill hours. Each element builds on the last, allowing your confidence, understanding and clinical judgement to develop gradually over time.
How you'll learn
Every module follows the same rhythm.
We’ll explore the theory.
I’ll demonstrate the work.
You’ll practise it.
We’ll talk about what happened.
And then you’ll do it again.
Because there are things you simply cannot learn from a page.
You need to experience what happens when a muscle doesn’t respond the way you expected. When someone says something you weren’t prepared for. When you lose your train of thought halfway through a session. When you notice something you would have completely missed six months earlier.
We build it piece by piece.
Because becoming a practitioner isn’t about reaching the end of a manual. It’s about allowing enough time for the work to become part of who you are.
The space between the weekends
The weeks between teaching weekends are part of the training too.
This is where you begin using what you’ve learned. You’ll complete your case studies and Practitioner Development workbook gradually, giving you time to practise one layer before another is added.
And you will make mistakes. I expect that. You’re learning.
There will also be dedicated supervision throughout the programme and a private WhatsApp group so we can stay connected, ask questions and share experiences between weekends.
Beyond the clinical work
Becoming a practitioner also means beginning to think about how you want to bring your work into the world.
The programme includes Origin & Signature, a series of live online sessions exploring the foundations of your future practice and how these can be translated into an authentic professional identity.
We begin before websites, logos and social media. From there, we’ll explore brand essence, colour psychology, visual identity and the overall feeling of your brand.
I want people to be able to see you in your work.
How you'll learn
You’ll receive your complete Depth Kinesiology training manual, practitioner assessment and case-study documentation, the Practitioner Development Workbook, clinical supervision, Origin & Signature live online sessions and ongoing support throughout the programme.
You’ll also receive a Spiral Soul Flower Essence Kit for use as you learn to work with flower essences within the Depth Kinesiology process.
Who is this training for?
This programme is for people who genuinely want to become practitioners.
Some will already have experience in kinesiology or another therapeutic profession.
Others will be completely new. Both are welcome.
What matters far more than previous experience is curiosity, commitment and a willingness to keep learning.
Because this is an experiential training, you’ll also be invited to engage with the work yourself. Not because the programme is about fixing you, but because I believe we can only take another person as far as we’re willing to go ourselves. You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need years of experience. But you do need a willingness to stay open, to reflect honestly and to embrace the fact that becoming a practitioner is a process, not an event.
Assessment
There is no big final exam waiting for you at the end of two years. I don’t think that would tell me very much about whether you can actually work with someone.
Assessment happens throughout the programme. It includes practical application, progressive case studies, self-practice where relevant, reflective observations and completion of your Practitioner Development Workbook. The standard matters. But neither is it about perfection.
The purpose is to demonstrate that you can work safely, follow the Depth Kinesiology process accurately, understand the reasoning behind what you’re doing and reflect on your own practice.
Qualifying as a Depth Kinesiology Practitioner
To qualify as a Depth Kinesiology Practitioner, you will need to successfully complete the full training programme.
That means completing the required teaching weekends and online learning, participating in supervision, completing the Practitioner Development work and successfully completing all required assessments and case studies.
There isn’t one final moment where I suddenly decide whether you’re a practitioner. I’ll have watched you become one over two years. That’s the point.
Meet Emma
I don’t think I ever really decided to create Depth Kinesiology. I think I had to. My professional foundation began in psychology, with a BSc in Psychology followed by an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis. I later trained in Systematic Kinesiology and Emotions Kinesiology and Metaphysical Kinesiology, before spending years working clinically and teaching practitioners.
Over time, those worlds increasingly began to meet. I found myself constantly questioning, noticing, writing and coming back to the same thought:
“There has to be a deeper way of doing this.” Eventually those notebooks became manuals. Those manuals became a curriculum.
And somewhere along the way, Depth Kinesiology came into existence. If I had to choose one value underneath everything I teach, it would be integrity.
Working with another human being is a privilege. I want practitioners who understand the limits of what they do, who continue learning, who stay curious, who can tolerate uncertainty and who know when something sits outside their scope.
But I don’t want to create practitioners who copy me. I want you to understand the work deeply enough to think for yourself. To trust your observations. To ask your own questions. To gradually develop your own way of working.
Because one day your clients won’t need me. They’ll need you. And if, after two years together, you leave trusting yourself enough to do that, I’ll know I’ve done my job.
From Those I've Taught
