PSYCHOLOGY · BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS · KINESIOLOGY
You can spend years living a life that looks perfectly fine. And still know something isn't right.
You do what needs done. You get on with things. You fulfil the roles, meet the expectations and become very good at being the person everyone knows.
But somewhere along the way, you may have lost sight of how much of that person is actually you.
How much you’ve adapted. What you’ve learned to tolerate. The parts of yourself you’ve pushed aside because they didn’t fit.
And perhaps the most uncomfortable question of all.
Who would you be if you stopped being who you’ve learned to be?
Who I am
I've always been interested in the difference between who we are and who we've learned to be.
I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree with Distinction in Behaviour Analysis, and diplomas in Systematic Kinesiology and Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology.
My work has been deeply influenced by my studies of Carl Jung and depth psychology. Particularly his understanding of the unconscious, the shadow and the different parts of ourselves that influence how we think, feel and behave.
Because we don’t always understand why we do what we do.
We can know a relationship isn’t good for us and still struggle to leave. We can spend our lives trying to keep everyone happy and resent them for it. We can be fiercely independent and find it almost impossible to let anyone close.
And we can understand all of that intellectually, yet continue doing exactly the same things.
That’s what interests me.
Not simply what’s happening in your life, but what’s happening within you that keeps bringing you back to familiar places.
I bring together psychology, an understanding of human behaviour and kinesiology to explore those deeper patterns, including the parts of ourselves we may not yet recognise.
Who I Work With
Women who are beginning to question the person they've spent their lives becoming.
Women who are tired of having the same arguments, feeling the same resentment, finding themselves in the same relationships or making decisions they later wish they’d made differently.
Women who can recognise a pattern in themselves but can’t seem to stop repeating it.
Perhaps you’ve always been the responsible one. The strong one. The one who keeps the peace, doesn’t ask for much, or makes sure everyone else is alright.
And perhaps you’re beginning to wonder what that has cost you.
You might struggle to say no, yet feel furious when people take advantage. You might desperately want closeness, yet pull away when someone gets too close. You might have spent years being agreeable while privately carrying an enormous amount of anger.
These aren’t random contradictions.
They’re worth understanding.
The parts of ourselves we reject don't simply disappear because we've decided we shouldn't feel that way.
They continue to influence how we live, often without us realising.
This work is for women who are willing to become curious about those parts of themselves. Not just the qualities they like, but the jealousy, anger, fear, need for approval, shame and everything else they’d rather not admit is there.
Because understanding yourself means being willing to meet more than the version of yourself you're comfortable with.
This Isn’t a Quick Fix.
Understanding why you are the way you are changes how you see yourself.
We don’t develop our patterns for no reason.
The woman who can’t say no may have learned very early that keeping people happy kept her safe.
The woman who needs to control everything may know what it feels like when life becomes unpredictable.
And the woman who never asks for help may have learned that depending on someone else comes at a price.
These ways of being can become so familiar that we stop questioning them. We simply call them our personality.
My work brings together psychology, human behaviour and kinesiology to explore what’s happening beneath the surface.
Not to decide that everything about you needs changing.
But to understand what you’ve learned, what you’ve carried, and how those experiences continue to influence the choices you make today.
Because there’s a difference between recognising a pattern and understanding the part of yourself that keeps it alive.
Testimonials
“Emma is an incredible inspirational woman and I have been working with her for a couple of years now. She has turned my life around. After spending thousands on self-help gurus and getting nowhere, and still feeling lost and stuck, I came across this wonderful woman through a friend. She has helped me work through things I didn’t even realise were keeping me stuck. She has helped me find my own self-worth. Since working with her my business has won multiple awards and after being single for 12 years the love of my life and soul mate walked into my life – no dating sites, no bar hunting, he literally walked into my business and now 18 months on and planning our future. I still work with Emma on a regular basis, because life will always throw curve balls, but keeping regular appointments helps keep me on track and grounded.
I am and always will be forever grateful to have found this incredible woman.”
