Accreditation & Qualification

Choosing a professional training is a significant commitment.

Before enrolling, it’s important that you understand exactly what you’re working towards, how you’ll be supported throughout the programme, and what is required to qualify as a Depth Kinesiology Practitioner.

Professional Accreditation

The Depth Kinesiology Practitioner Training Programme is professionally accredited by The Complementary Medical Association (CMA).

The CMA is a professional membership body representing practitioners and training schools within the complementary and integrative health sector.

Accreditation provides independent professional recognition of the training programme and its standards of practitioner education.

Following successful completion of the programme, graduates can apply for professional membership with the CMA and access appropriate practitioner insurance, subject to the CMA and insurer requirements in place at the time of qualification.

Professional standards matter.
Depth Kinesiology has been developed not simply as a collection of techniques, but as a complete practitioner training with clear standards of education, supervised development, assessment and professional practice

Entry Requirements & Anatomy and Physiology

The programme welcomes people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Some students may already be working as therapists, kinesiology practitioners or healthcare professionals. Others may be entering professional therapeutic training for the first time.

Previous kinesiology training is not required.

Depth Kinesiology does not involve the diagnosis, assessment or treatment of physical or medical conditions. However, practitioners are required to have a foundational understanding of human Anatomy & Physiology as part of their professional training.

Students who already hold appropriate Anatomy & Physiology training may provide evidence of their existing qualification.

Students who do not already hold this will be directed to a recommended online Anatomy & Physiology course, which can be completed alongside the Depth Kinesiology programme and must be completed prior to qualification.

This requirement is intentionally proportionate to the scope of practice of a Depth Kinesiology Practitioner.

What matters is a genuine commitment to the work, a willingness to engage fully with your practitioner development, and the capacity to undertake the academic, practical and reflective requirements of a two-year professional training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous kinesiology experience?

No. The programme begins with the foundations of Depth Kinesiology and develops gradually across the two years. Previous kinesiology or therapeutic training is welcome, but it is not required.

Do I need Anatomy & Physiology?

Yes. A foundational Anatomy & Physiology qualification is required before you can qualify as a Depth Kinesiology Practitioner.

If you already hold an appropriate qualification, you can provide evidence of this. If not, you will be directed to a recommended online course which can be completed alongside your Depth Kinesiology training.

Do I need insurance while I’m training?

Yes. Students will be required to hold appropriate student insurance before beginning case study work with members of the public.

Guidance on arranging suitable student cover will be provided during the programme.

Can I obtain professional insurance after qualifying?

Yes. Following successful completion of the programme, graduates can apply for professional membership with the CMA and access practitioner insurance subject to the requirements in place at that time.

Graduates are not restricted to one provider and may also arrange professional insurance independently through another suitable insurer.

What if I miss a teaching weekend?

Attendance at all teaching weekends is expected, as each one builds upon the previous and includes practical demonstrations, partner work and experiential learning that cannot be fully replicated through the manuals alone.

However, I understand that exceptional circumstances can sometimes arise. If illness, a family emergency or another unforeseen situation means you are unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible.

A catch-up session may be arranged at my discretion to ensure you are able to safely continue with the programme. The format will depend on the content missed and your individual learning needs and may include online or in-person tuition, additional practical work or other learning activities.

The purpose is not simply to cover missed content, but to ensure you have developed the knowledge and practical skills required before progressing.

Repeated absences may affect your ability to progress through or complete the programme.

How much work is required between teaching weekends?

Learning continues between the teaching weekends. You will gradually complete your case studies and Practitioner Development Workbook activities, giving you time to practise and apply each stage of the Depth Kinesiology process before further layers are introduced.

Is there a final exam?

No. Assessment takes place continuously throughout the programme through practical observation, case studies and practitioner development work.

There is no single final examination. All required assessments must be successfully completed before qualification is awarded.

Will I receive training manuals?

Yes. You will receive the complete Depth Kinesiology training manual as you progress through the programme. They are yours to keep and are designed to become an ongoing professional reference once you qualify.

What qualification will I receive?

Once you have successfully completed all teaching, assessment, case study, supervision and other programme requirements, you will qualify as a Depth Kinesiology Practitioner.
